Just Kick the fucking can down the road , as it’s how you deal with the issue or issues ….

It has not come as a surprise to see the ongoing incompetence of a Congress and Presidential administration that remains so damn clueless ! President, Barack Obama having been returned to office for a second successive term , he still remains a powerless individual . And while I believe him to be the better of the two candidates ,, who sought the nation’s highest political office , in no way should that be viewed as an outright ringing endorsement of Obama the man . His failings on a number of political issues across the political panacea have been mounting and still show no signs of abating.

In the aftermath of the tragic events of Newtown , Connecticut , and the loss of twenty six innocent lives , of which 20 of those were students under the age 12 , at Sandy Hook Elementary School . The nation angered by this latest atrocity , and it has once again been left to the idiocy of the Democrats and Republicans to argue over “gun control” , and what might be seen as an effective policy and far-reaching statute that would keep multi-faceted automatic weapons out of the hands of criminals but also individuals with mental health issues . Once again, in comes the NRA , and their overzealous and often insidious Chairman Wayne LaPierre . LaPierre , would have us believe that his organization’s lobbying to have strict and effective gun control policy basically “watered down” effectively assisting the arms’ manufacturers even greater profits than even they could have possibly imagined . Over the years , whatever “teeth” there has been to any effective mandate as it relates to gun control , has had the heart ripped out of it completely. And the statutes now on the books simply does not go far enough to negate the violence now within our midst that takes the lives young innocent children among us .

Mass killings and the hundreds of lives that have been lost on the streets of Chicago over the past eighteen months , should be enough of a horror to make even the most hardened amongst us repulsed . Yet , somehow these harrowing statistics , that places the United States atop of the ladder of developed nations with regards to homicides per capita and per 10,000 remains the highest in the industrialized world . This is not something that the country can take pride in at all. It’s now open season on children and women in terms of the violence now taking place , and these fucking politicians now seem to be intent on sitting on their ass ,while not doing anything positive or proactive on a variety of issues, and the uninitiated masses who offered up their synopsis on this election seeming glossed over so much , merely because they haven’t a fucking clue as to the issues that now affect the country domestically and internationally !

With that in mind , what else should the can the electorate now look forward to ? The economic malaise we’re now told is a “ fiscal cliff” has become a cluster fuck that stinks to high heaven , and at no time over the past four years , has either side sought to deal with this , the most acute of the issues the country now faces . The Democrats and Republicans the ” two bumbling ” and more prominent of the political parties , are now behaving like children fighting over a new toy in a sandpit . House Leader , John Boehner , has all but made sure that there will be no clear-cut solution or compromise before the Congress takes their winter recess . The President for his part remains a toothless tiger without the leadership traits many felt sought in him, as a political leader and statesman . Basically , it’s back to kicking the can down the road as relates to dealing with the nation’s problems . Nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say.

The NBA season is now up and running , and a mere third of the way through its eighty-two game schedule . Leading the way within the Eastern Conference , as well the Atlantic Division , are the New York Knicks (19-7) , the team with the best record within conference , but the fourth best record in the NBA , behind the Oklahoma City Thunder (21-5) , San Antonio Spurs (20-8), and the Los Angeles Clippers (20-6) .

Now while Mike Woodson’s players are off to an impressive start to the season , one could attest to the fact that for the moment they might just be the best team in the conference. Yet the reigning champions the Miami Heat , in spite of their recent hiccups , LeBron James and his teammates do have something to prove , as they seek to make a successful defense of their NBA title .

Now while many might feel that the Heat’s start is somewhat indifferent , it has to be said , if anything this team is simply pacing themselves for the long haul of an arduous season. The NBA schedule , much like a marathon , is not a sprint , but an attrition sapping course of events that simply takes its toll upon the players . So while the Knicks and their fans feel something to excited about at present , let’s not get ahead of ourselves , especially in light of that ugly ….. loss to the Chicago Bulls at home , while playing at Madison Square Gardens, in New York City , New York . Riding high , behind the play of Carmelo Anthony , undoubtedly one of the early season candidates and leaders for the league MVP . Behind some resolute defense and an equally imposing offense , the much maligned Knicks now have the rest of the NBA sitting up and take note.

From the good to the bad , and oh yes , it is really bad , as the woefully inept Washington Wizards (3-20) , either are unknowingly wanting to look bad , or the Wizards’ players are simply that horrendous . Far be it for me to suggest that I can’t spot bullshit when I see it , but the NBA hierarchy should now be investigating whether or not there is a real intent by the franchise to play competitively . If not , then I guess their record and play is indicative how bad they just happen to be. Personally, I just can’t see any light at the end of the tunnel for this laboring franchise ! They are simply not a championship caliber team by any stretch of the imagination

You can build a team around a number one draft pick but you’d better sure as hell have the players to go alongside him to match his skill-set . Two years removed from being the number one pick in the 2010 NBA Draft , John Wall remains something of an enigma , while his teammates , are simply lackluster and dispassionate . Head coach , Randy Wittman , may well be in for an arduous season with his young team . as they try to find a way to remain relevant within the NBA this season .

In the Western Conference , everything has been encapsulated by the might of the Oklahoma City Thunder , led by their All Stars , Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook . And for Westbrook, who might just be the most electrifying talent at the point guard position currently playing in the NBA , and that is with due respect to Chris Paul, Deron Williams and Rajon Rondo .

In the midst of this all , Kevin Durant remains the lynch pin that holds this team together , under the erstwhile coaching abilities of Scott Brooks and his coaching staff . . Thunder GM , Sam Presti , a former front office executive with the San Antonio Spurs has simply molded the franchise using a similar template , by drafting judiciously over the years , garnering , Durant , Westbrook, James Harden , and in 2012, it appears another bumper crop of talented players that Brooks can enmesh into this roster , with them making contributions in assisting the franchise’s aspirations.

Harden , in the midst of contract negotiations with the team could not reach an agreement wherein his contributions with the Thunder have made this franchise a force to be reckoned with over the past two seasons . The negotiations between James Harden and Sam Presti broke down , with the front office deciding to trade the player being traded to the Houston Rockets , in exchange for Kevin Martin and several role players. Harden , for his part having joined the Rockets , he has made more than a solid a contribution for the team , and outshining Jeremy Lin , the “supposed face of the franchise” in the wake of esteemed career of Yao Ming .

The Rockets (14-12) sits third behind the Memphis Grizzlies (18-7) and the San Antonio Spurs within the Southwest Division . From his “hot start” with the Rockets, both Harden and the team

seem to have cooled down with the franchised on a three-game winning streak, but 6-4 over their last ten games .

While there seems to be a new chapter being written in burgeoning career of Blake Griffin and Chris Paul , as the duo lead the Los Angeles Clippers to new unprecedented heights of recent success. The team is now on a twelve-game winning streak , the longest such streak in the NBA this season . Griffin and his teammates have simply been the story in LA , while their more celebrated neighbors the Los Angeles Lakers are struggling under the wealth and weight of expectation . The firing of Mike Brown after a 1-4 start , and the hiring of Mike D’Antoni as Brown’s successor has left the fans of one of the NBA’s most heralded franchises asking what the hell just happens to be going on.

DAntoni for his part is having a hard time in trying to win over the die-hard Lakers’ fans , whose wish it was , was to see either the return of Phil Jackson or the vacant position at the time , be filled by Jackson’s former assistant , Brian Shaw. The decision for the hiring of Mike DAntoni was made by general manager , Mitch Kupchak and SVP Jim Buss , the son of team owner, Dr Jerry Buss .

I have never been a great admirer of Mike D’Antoni as an NBA head coach , as I believe coaching to be fundamentally unsound , especially in light of the fact he has never been avowed teacher of defensive fundamentals , with regard to coaching in the NBA . Dantoni’s teams throughout his coaching , are not known for their defensive prowess. And that is now clearly the case at present, as it relates to the Lakers . And the idiocy is that the fans are now meant to believe that D’Antoni will adjust his coaching style to make such a thought a reality , is simply beyond belief .

Kobe Bryant is the lone constant on the roster of the Lakers , and their primary offensive source , as well as a defensive stalwart for this beleaguered franchise. With Kupchak and Jim Buss having made the decision to hire D’Antoni , it should be noted that they team’s roster also was revamped with the acquisitions of Steve Nash and Dwight Howard to complement to skill-set of Bryant and Pau Gasol. From my own standpoint , with injuries already sustained to Howard , Gasol and Nash , there seems to be a lingering concern as to the overall health of three players. In part, this has played a role in the ongoing owes of the team and the sub .500 record (13-14) now held by the franchise within the Pacific Division of the Western Conference.

The Lakers in their most recent game , came away with a hard-fought 118-115 victory over the Golden State Warriors . On Christmas Day , when to my mind , it gives us a clear-cut picture as to how the teams are faring , as by now we should be witnessing the well-formed intentions and their chase for a playoff berth .

Beyond the off the field issues facing the Sacramento Kings under the connivance of team owners , Joe and Gavin Aloof , there can be no denying that this franchise remains a work in progress both on and off the field of play. Head coach , Keith Smart , still has to deal with a malcontent in DeMarcus Cousins , player with a great deal of talent , but the attitude of a pig , and who lacks the maturity to be seen as a genuine leader of this team. I was once told by a patron, who just happened to be a Kings’ fan , he wasn’t at all concerned about a player’s issues , just as long as he came to play the game. Well, that sort of attitude is so typical of the vast majority of sports’ fans in general today , as they would rather excuse the gross misbehavior of an athlete as being part of the “norm” . Well, it no longer becomes the norm when a player chooses to disparage his head coach and indirectly his teammates . Cousins has been suspended indefinitely by the franchise, for conduct detrimental to the team and organization . Anyone within front office who didn’t see this incident coming has to be either naïve or convinced that DE Marcus Cousins had in fact turned over to a new a leaf.

Cousins remains an enigma , malcontent , talented and a conundrum all rolled up into one human being. The fact that he cannot be quelled and that his off the field antics have been tolerated for so long , speaks volumes as to the incompetence that has been shown by the Kings’ front office as well as the NBA hierarchy as a whole . Repeated infractions by the player, and he has simply been coddled by the Kings’ coaching staff , until this latest incident . Highly sought after , Cousins , as a player, while a player at Kentucky (Wildcats) under John Calipari, a coach whose idea of making players under his tutelage be productive citizens , is akin to seeing Al Capone choosing not to profit from the era of prohibition . And if you sincerely believe that Calipari has ever had the best interests of the players to have been under his tutelage , then simply peruse the minutiae of coaching resume` in detail to see the trail of trouble and NCAA investigations conducted at the programs where he has been a college coach. NCAA champions or not , albeit that the coach is well-respected by his peers and Wildcats’ fans alike , there remains a distasteful stench surrounding anything associated with John Calipari and much of the success he has attained .

As to Cousins impending future and whether or not he remains a player with this franchise in the future , it now remains to be seen .

As I alluded to earlier , Christmas Day becomes the point at where we can truly gauge the progress of the teams. In 2011 , that was certainly the case , as it has always been during previous seasons within the NBA and their usual festivity appealing schedule . Five games are on schedule for the 25th December , of which the “ marquee match-ups” are the Boston Celtics facing the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center , in Brooklyn , with the other game in question, being the New York Knicks facing the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center , in Los Angeles , California, . Hopefully , a genuine treat will be served up by the teams in question in those five scheduled games .

What thoughts if any do you have with regard to the NBA season , and how the year has progressed so far ? And do you feel that the right action has been taken by the Sacramento Kings in the suspension of DeMarcus Cousins ? Merely leave a comment as you see fit on this and anything else you believe to be pertinent on the subject matter in question .

  1. So here we are at what is meant to be the most festive time of the season and instead the country is in the midst incompetent political leadership and organizations that are simply out of touch reality but who hide behind an archaic impracticality that the second amendment is a given right afforded to every citizen . The NRA is out of touch with reality and they have a leader in , Wayne LaPierre who’d rather be the the lapdog and mouthpiece for the gun lobbyists and gun manufacturers .

The Knicks are riding high but let’s see how they do over the next two months , and then we can call them legit contenders . I mean we’ve had one idiot carry on, saying that because they’ve beaten the Heat , that made ’em the s#it ! And then what happens, they get their a$s handed to them by the Bulls while playing at home at Madison Square Gardens . Go figure with that a#s’ prognostication as to greatness of the Knicks . Last I looked they had their ass handed to them in the first round of the playoffs of last season .

“Son playing for me it’ll bros before ho’s and then after-wards , you can f#ck as many ho’s as you can get into your bed , ya ‘ feelin me ” ? John Calipari & DeMarcus Cousins

Someone remind me again why the Lakers hired Mike D’Antoni ? Overrated coach who simply has no idea to coach defensively !

DeMarcus Cousins , a self absorbed “douche bag “ who has no respect for the game or authority . And much of that arises from lack of real authority and leadership provided by John Calipari as the head coach of the Kentucky (Wildcats) , specifically while he coached Cousins as a one-year , won and done player in 2010 .

Stern can pontificate about the NBA all he wants but in matters such as this when he ought to be front and center , he simply sits his dumb ass down and does nothing . In the early nineties he was all behind the use of the thug mentality to promote the NBA along with the culture that evolves around the genre to promote the NBA’s image and the moment it all backfired , David Stern didn’t at all apologize to the public for the league;s actions .

As to the Kings’ own issues on and off the court , this sorry ass franchise under Geoff Petrie and the Maloofs are still trying to screw over the city of Sacramento , seeking the municipality to pay for a new venue without the ownership group seeking to offer any sort of financing in the endeavor . All of this is countenance by the league hierarchy under Stern . And people , still believe that the commissioner has been good for the NBA ? Other than riding on a wave of storm while Jordan brought in billions of the dollars , the commissioner has done fu#k all for the NBA !

I bet she’d be willing to spread some Yuletide joy by sitting on your Yuletide “log” !

Have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year for all of the patrons of this site !

  2. Personally, Al, I’m anti-gun. I’ve never owned one and never will. But I also respect the 2nd amendment.

That being said, I think if we put our minds together, there are effective and appropriate changes we can make to curb all the gun violence in this country.

I’m not anti-gun at all , having spent almost a decade in the military (British Royal Marines – seen active service in Eritrea , Ireland , Cyprus and Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia ) , and what I am against is the utter bullshit now being proposed by Wayne LaPierre of the NRA .

The NRA is and remains in the back pocket of the gun manufacturers and that’s the rub here . Lobbyists earn millions annually courtesy of NRA and manufacturers such as Smith & Wesson , Glock , and Bushmaster , makers of the weapons used by the assailant in the Newtown tragedy . Do you honestly believe that arming cops and placing them in the over 250,000 schools across in the nation , will stop this sort of tragedy ? That’s the asinine proposal being put forward by an asshole, such as Wayne LaPierre !

The funding for such an endeavor would cost at a minimum , $ 2 billion . . It would be far easier and less costly ,merely getting the manufacturers to place a safety lock on the assault weapons they produce . But no , that’s not something that the NRA or manufacturers want . So you tell me , where is there any fucking common sense to be found when it comes to the political rhetoric on the gun debate as well as the ” fiscal cliff “ , which the country has actually over the precipice to begin with .

Boehner and Obama are two of the dumbest mother -f##kers to be found on the national political platform today. They have had this issue within their midst, since Obama became a senator for the state of Illinois , but in that time neither they or their respective political parties have chosen to a goddamn thing about it ! Come on Chris , you’re a Poli-sci grad , and you definitely know what I’m saying is true .

As for DeMarcus Cousins , how the fu#k can this player still remain in the NBA given his antics ? The player threatens his coach , Keith Smart with physical violence , because his coach questions his lack of effort

. All of this happening under the watchful eye of an oaf like , David Stern !

The Kings to my mind are one of the worst ran franchises in the NBA , and they’ve been a money losing concern for years but yet their dumb ass fans want the city to pay for a venue to house the Kings , while owners Joe and Gavin Maloof , have no wish to even aid in the financing of a new venue . The Kings’ fan are anally retentive , if they feel that the city should facilitate the whims of the Maloofs . They’re ###king clueless and so too is Sacramento mayor , Kevin Johnson , the former NBA star .

It’s not only about the second amendment , but surely the loss of young innocent lives ” trumps anything” over that part of of the US constitution or are you of the opinion that the loss of the twenty six innocent victims is something we should be use to and simply trump that up as another stat and part of of society ? What other industrialized nation on the planet has this many homicides per capita and per 10,000 of its populace as the US and still chooses to do fuck all about it ? This country should be ashamed of itself but yet the idiots on both sides of the spectrum continuing to hide behind the fu##ing second amendment after a tragedy , rather than some constructive debate on realistic ” gun control ” .

The politicians much like the NRA , and gun manufacturers are so full of shit , that anything that they have to say on the issue has to be considered a fucking joke ! Obama and Eric Holder , being the cowardly bastards that they are , have refused to tell the truth, as it relates the Justice Dept and ATF joint effort in the “Fast & Furious ” gunrunning exercise of running guns down to drug cartels in Mexico . Consider that bullshit , and then tell me you see that will make you change your mind concerning the issue . The electorate here is fucking apathetic and clearly have no idea as to the issues as they simply vote along either ideological or party lines . Which at the end of the day , really isn’t saying much !

  3. Let me pose this question to those of you out there . Gun control with this administration is a goddamn joke ! You have the US Attorney General Eric Holder lying about the actions of his not knowing about the “Fast & Furious ” gun-running policy to track weapons that would fall into the hands of Mexican and Colombian drug cartels .

Barack Obama and and the Justice Dept in conjunction with the ATF are a bunch of fu$king a$s clowns ! He (Obama) exerts ” executive privilege ” to cover up the web of deceit and lies , meanwhile it’s the lesser lights within the ATF who are either fired , demoted or given a reprimand because Eric Holder hasn’t the balls to ” man up ” and admit this whole operation was a none starter . Tens of millions of dollars of taxpayers monies , have been misspent on a needless exercise , that hasn’t led to the arrest of any major gunrunner or drug lord in either Mexico or Colombia .

“Eric you owe me , now go fu$k Pelosi in the #$s “. Barack Obama . ” Mr President , , your wish is my command , and do I have to wear a condom as I love going bareback ” ? Eric Holder

Many of the guns that the ATF actually smuggled south of the border also found their way back North into the US . How does that $hit work ? LOL,LOL ,LOL !!! The fu##ing incompetence of this administration and Congress in unbelievable and it just goes to show that the electorate simply deserves what they get .

You’d have thought that after the Newtown Connecticut wtown tragedy both the administration and Congress could find some common ground , but these fu#king morons will continue to skirt their responsibilities as usual by using the second amendment as a crutch to hide behind . Meanwhile twenty six families, will never be able to gain any recourse after this horrific tragedy . And if they seek some sort of legal recourse , who should they go after , the school system , assailant’s family or the gun manufacturers ?

And if things weren’t bad enough you have that asshole Wayne LaPierre of the NRA suggesting that there ought to be policemen in each and every school in the nation as a way to protect the kids . There are over 250,000 schools in this nation and this is the best idea this fucking moron could come up with . Not that the gun manufacturers would spend an additional $45-$50 for a safety device to be fitted to these multi-faceted assault weapons .

Neither the administration , Congress , NRA or Obama , has a goddamn clue !

In reality , however , there won’t a compromise concerning this because in reality they’ve deal with this ” fiscal crisis mess the same way they’ve dealt every other damn mess during Obama’s first term , by pushing the fucking can down the road as usual !

  4. Yes, Obama was re-relected, but I doubt he accomplishes very much in his second term. His best chance to make “change” was when he had majorities in the house and the senate in his first term. But now that the house is controlled by the Republicans, I think this will hinder Obama over the next four years.

We need term limits in the House and Senate. Professional politicians have no need to be proactive in solving the nations problems. It’s counter productive to them. The more problems that exist, the more issues they have to present to voters. When to two parties fail to accomplish anything, they just blame each other, and cycle of incompetence continues.

And I’m not anti-gun either, but I’m not sure what the average person needs with automatic weapons. Hand guns and rifles, I have no problem with. But automatic weapons only serve one purpose, warfare. I believe in the right to bear arms, but only as a defensive measure, or for survival.

I’ve no problem with Obama being reelected ! What I do have a problem with , is his lacking leadership qualities and damn well shirking his responsibilities on a vast array of issues ! And he can still can make change by being a mediator , rather than being an agitator , instead of his falling in line with every-ham fisted idea brought up by the Democrats under idiots , such as , Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid .

Term limits ? Yeah , you’re flogging a dead horse on that score , as we all are !

And using the second amendment after this tragedy is simply another crutch for the pro gun enthusiasts to use in the midst mounting tragedies such the Newtown Massacre , because that is in essence was what it was, a massacre and the assault upon the innocence and youth of this country . And those still standing tall trying to suggest that putting armed law enforcement officers in schools , simply have no goddamn idea as to what they’re talking about . It’d be far more cost effective to retool the assault weapons that go on sale to the public with a safety device . But an asshole such as Wayne LaPierre of the NRA and the gun manufacturers want no part of that , as it would hurt the “bottom line” of the gun-makers . It’s as plain and as simple as that .

The Justice Dept and ATF are a sorry ass bunch of mother-##ckers to begin with who are so incompetent that it defies all logic ! Fast & Furious ? Who the fuck came up with fucking stupid idea of running guns down to Mexico to supposedly monitor whose hands those weapons fell into ? .

For an industrialized nation such as the US , to be losing so many lives to violent gun crimes each year , is a goddamn abomination , but you’d he hard pressed to hear anyone from amongst the Conservatives or Liberals step up to the plate and say that with , anywhere near the venom they use to denigrate each other with such animus .

      1. Heads should have rolled after the debacle that is the Fast and Furious scandal. So yes, I can see how trying to take the moral high ground on gun control could very hypocritical by the Obama administration. And no doubt the media will be reluctant to point this out.

And the NRA is just a lobbying organization. They are well within their rights to say whatever they choose to in order to advance their agenda. The real issue is with the politicians who curry favor to them, and their constituents who don’t hold them accountable for it.

Republicans and the NRA use the threat of people losing thier guns to fire up thier base, the same way the Democrats use the threat of losing abortion to fire up theirs. Neither are likely to happen, but both are used as pawns in an ever expanding game of chess. And unfortunately it’s a stalemate.

Barack Obama using “executive privilege” to save Eric Holder’s ass was a despicable thing to do ! The matter had nothing at all to do with “national security” . As for Eric Holder , the guy no longer has any credibility as the country’s highest law enforcement officer !.

How asinine is it that the Justice Dept can go after the financial concern HSBC get them to willingly pay a $1.9 billion fine , be subjected to four years of FDIC oversight but yet the White Collar Crime Division of that very same governmental agency (Justice Dept) could or has chosen not to indict any major banking executive on Wall St , after those banks’ misdeeds in almost bringing down the financial markets along with the economy , for which the country is still paying for, in spite the billion spent in taxpayers’ monies in terms of the TARP bailout initiated by then Treasury Secretary, Hank Paulson during Bush’s second terms and carried on by that dumb as@hole Tim Geithner within the Treasury Dept at the behest of Obama .

The SEC (Securities & Exchange Comission) and Treasury had auditors inside the offices of Merrill Lynch before that bank went ” belly up” and the government offered Bank of America ” a sweetheart deal” to take the bankrupt concern over .

Both political parties are so disingenuous, that the masses (electorate) have fed into their bullshit , like horses being drawn to the water trough .

If this had been China , Eric Holder would have been found guilty and summarily been executed . Here in the US , the electorate gladly accepts mediocrity, while the idiotic panderings of the Left and Right continues, and nowhere is there any common sense to found ! Some of the bull#hit I’ve read within this forum in the leadup to the election itself was some of the most banal and idiotic drivel and diatribe that could have been found in the print , television or here as it is so commonly termed the blog-o-sphere .

The only might that the US now has going for it , just happens to be its militaristic might and not much else beyond that .

          1. If a Republican would have been in office, the media would have left no stone unturned investigating Fast and Furious, and ensuring that someone’s head would have been on a pike. But it’s been basically swept under the rug.

The lack of media scrutiny is another reason Obama won’t accomplish much over the next four years, because only his opposition or independent analysts will call him out for his failures publicly. The media will trumpet Obama’s successes and conveniently fail to criticize his failures, so he wins even when he loses. It’s like if the Patriots lost to the Jets, the media would merely report that a game was played, but not report that it was lost.

I’ve lived in the US , for two decades , I was a partner in a successful business that employed 30 people in South Florida , before I left the company after a falling out with one of the partners . Suffice to say , when one someone is stealing to deal with their own personal habits , it hurts the company , the employees and the integrity of that business entity.

It’s no different now with the actions of Holder and the fact that I wouldn’t take anything Obama now says with any seriousness . Now it’s come to light the number of gaffes made by the State Department in not providing enough security for the US citizens and ambassador who died in Benghazi , Libya . Who the fu#k would have ignored that the problems in the Middle East , given the fact that we were approaching the eleventh anniversary of 9/11 ? This is the sort of incompetence and stupidity that has encompassed not only this administration but successive ones down the years over the last three decades plus .

“Ambassador Rice how many batteries do I need to put in your vibrator and Sec’y Clinton would like to know if it’s still girls night in also , because she’s upgrading from 6 inches to a 10 inch dildo ” UN Ambassador Susan Rice and an aide .

And do you really believe that the alleged concussion suffered by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton suffered in that fall , makes it so troublesome for her to appear and give subpoenaed testimony to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee as to what transpired in the leadup of the Benghazi consulate attack ? Never mind the cluster fuck of UN Ambassador Susan Rice’s
statements to the print and television media as to the information they had within their possession . I’ve always maintained drop the sham of using the word intelligence when it comes to the CIA , NSA , FBI and any of the covert intelligence agencies with regard to the US government , because there is no frigging intelligence to be found in any of those agencies at all !

” Susan , no one has ever satisfied me the way that you have, not even Bill ! God , I love, it when we share our toys simultaneously , and that tongue of yours , it sends shivers up down my spine when it’s inside of me ” ! Hillary Clinton & Susan Rice

Hillary probably tripped over Bill Clinton’s porn stash while they were role playing.

              1. Politicians hate to admit mistakes, so instead of giving the opposition the satisfaction of their humility, they circle the wagons, and protect those they know who acted negligently and sweep things under the rug.

A situation like Benghazi should be used as an example for the future that incompetence will not be tolerated in the State Department. But instead firing anyone of any significance, they allow the top dogs to get off scott free with as little embarrasment as possible. This will happen again.

When people allow cronyism and campaign quid pro quo dictate who they appoint to these essential cabinet positions, why should the appointee actually be expected to do the job properly and ensure those around them do as well?

Fast and Furious and Bengahzi are monumental debacles and people have died over this incompetence, and yet all of the top players are still in the starting lineup. So don’t be surprised if these types of scandals continue to happen.

It’s something of a rarity when they admit to anything even when the proof of their malfeasance is there for all to see .

The Benghazi incident should be enough of an indication that tells you all you need to know as to how incompetent that governmental agency just happens to be . Hillary Clinton was simply given the role to appease her and Bill Clinton . She had no goddamn experience when it comes to foreign policy , and it’s a shame to see such frigging incompetency from an administration that many had high hopes for . Here’s another ‘frigging dumb ass decision by Obama during his tenure and that was to place Jeff Immelt , Chairman of GE on his CEA and Jobs’ Advisers’ Council .

How the fu#k do you place the chairman of GE , when he and his predecessor Jack Welch , on your jobs’ council (Immelt) when that company in the last decade plus , has done more to have jobs outsourced in excess of 500,000 overseas to places such as Brazil , India , China , Singapore , Vietnam , Tapei , Taiwan , and still try to have any semblance of credibility. Where are the journalists and members of Congress to hold Obama’s ….. feet to the fire for such lame ass decisions ?

And need we forget about the fact that GE in 2010 <a href=" didn't pay any taxes and essentially allowed to defer paying taxes multi-billion dollar revenues . Somehow this seems to have escaped the public's gaze as well as the print and television media glosses over it , without really going into great detail . And this is the sort bullshit that Romney would willingly have overlooked along with his cock-sucking running mate Paul Ryan . .

G.E.’s Strategies Let It Avoid Taxes Altogether

By David Kocieniewski , NY Times

General Electric, the nation’s largest corporation , had a very good year in 2010.

The company reported worldwide profits of $14.2 billion, and said $5.1 billion of the total came from its operations in the United States.

Its American tax bill? None. In fact, G.E. claimed a tax benefit of $3.2 billion.

That may be hard to fathom for the millions of American business owners and households now preparing their own returns, but low taxes are nothing new for G.E. The company has been cutting the percentage of its American profits paid to the Internal Revenue Service for years, resulting in a far lower rate than at most multinational companies.

Its extraordinary success is based on an aggressive strategy that mixes fierce lobbying for tax breaks and innovative accounting that enables it to concentrate its profits offshore. G.E.’s giant tax department, led by a bow-tied former Treasury official named John Samuels, is often referred to as the world’s best tax law firm. Indeed, the company’s slogan “Imagination at Work” fits this department well. The team includes former officials not just from the Treasury, but also from the I.R.S. and virtually all the tax-writing committees in Congress.

While General Electric is one of the most skilled at reducing its tax burden, many other companies have become better at this as well. Although the top corporate tax rate in the United States is 35 percent, one of the highest in the world, companies have been increasingly using a maze of shelters, tax credits and subsidies to pay far less.

In a regulatory filing just a week before the Japanese disaster put a spotlight on the company’s nuclear reactor business, G.E. reported that its tax burden was 7.4 percent of its American profits, about a third of the average reported by other American multinationals. Even those figures are overstated, because they include taxes that will be paid only if the company brings its overseas profits back to the United States. With those profits still offshore, G.E. is effectively getting money back.

Such strategies, as well as changes in tax laws that encouraged some businesses and professionals to file as individuals, have pushed down the corporate share of the nation’s tax receipts — from 30 percent of all federal revenue in the mid-1950s to 6.6 percent in 2009.

  5. Well, Alan, again…you have covered a lot of area here. The NBA is growing to be of little concern to me, I can’t say why. However, of growing concern is this political mess we have thrust ourselves into for another 4 years!

Mr. Obama was NEVER my choice for President. And to further witness all of this garbage over the “fiscal cliff” is as irritating as it has ever been! The blame game between people and parties is even more frustrating. They will probably reach an “11th hour” deal, maybe, perhaps, but it’s never without too much drama! Politicians…who REALLY needs them?

As for the 2nd amendment debate…I believe we need to revise the language to bring it’s relevance into the 21st century. I fully support an assault weapons ban, no question. Nobody needs a semi-automatic machine gun with extended fire power to protect the average family. Some may disagree, but that’s how I feel.

And as for the indifference in congress, and in the NRA, regarding the overall situation and the horrific events of Sandy Hook, I say shame on everyone of them! We need proper and significant gun control laws with some common sense mixed into it, and we need it TODAY! God bless the little children who fell, and God rage against those who turn away from necessary action because of politics!

And as for the idiot who suggested sending kids off to school with bullet-proof backpacks, may God throw him into an especially hot place in hell…

I’m no great admirer of Obama ! But if anything of the two candidates that vied for the Presidency , he was the best of a really inept bunch ! The electorate and the country at large deserves a hell of lot more than this Congress and Presidential administration has given them over the past four years. And it looks as if at the start of Barack Obama’s second term , it will be more of the same as per usual .

If what took place in Newtown, Connecticut , isn’t enough of a wake up call for the House , Senate , the administration and Supreme Court , then shame on these individuals . How many more young lives now need to be lost, before these idiots actually become proactive and deal with not just issue but so many more , that now is afflicting this country and turning it into a cesspool of violence and mediocrity !

There’ll be no eleventh hour or last minute deal on the fiscal crisis and that’s what’ll take us further over the cliff , because at present , the country is hanging on by its nails and not much else . As for these idiots pointing to increased home sales , that figure is minuscule , in terms of the where that statistic needs to be to even cause a major uptick in the economy that’s now growing at less than 2% per year . Where the f#ck do they get these asshole economists from , clown school ?

      1. Alan, as I’ve said before…I’m not certain that Romney had workable financial policies for this great nation, but I was fairly certain Obama does not. Now, we’ll never know the answer to that question…

As for congress, if they allow us to “slip over” the fiscal cliff, I won’t be blaming either the “Elephants” nor the “Donkeys,” I’ll be looking at all those who voted this President back into another term, and the electoral college who supported such a popular vote.

I guess they’d be considered the real “jackasses” in all of this…

My country and my children deserve so much better than what our government has given them of late…

If Paul Ryan actually had spoken eloquently on anything pertinent with regard to domestic policy or foreign policy , but his dumb ass still wasn’t capable speak with anything near to being succinct on anything relevant . He sits on and chairs the House Budget Committee and was meant to be something of a ” budget hawk “ . How the hell can that be when that committee “rubber stamped ” every piece of shit legislation spending that came down the pike . Doesn’t anyone have any common sense when it comes to the policies much less comprehend the issues that these fucking assholes stand for ?

Romney and his alleged business prowess is a joke ! I’d rather look at businesses such as Guggenheim Capital LLC , , rather than Bain Capital where (he) Romney allegedly made his name , when it comes to investing both domestically and overseas .

          “Time for P90x Mitt ” . ” Paul I don’t do porn ” Paul Ryan & Mitt Romney

And after his loss Conservatives including Romney , were bitching and whining and making claims about voter fraud . Mitt Romney even had the temerity to state that the Republicans didn’t fully back him. Unless I’m mistaken , the $200 million that Karl Rove bankrolled Romney’s campaign with , then his Romney’s dumb ass knows nothing at all ! Have those fuckers forgotten what took place in Florida in 2000 and the actions of the Florida Supreme Court ? What else needs to be said about this farce of a democracy , much less it being a Republic ?

Justice Antonin Scalia spoke of the laws of the US Constitution , as if ( it ) they were a living being /document , but what his dumb ass has failed to acknowledge , is the two centuries later , the country has progressed , yet many on the right would rather keep things as they once were and gloss over some of the most egregious and heinous moments in this country’s history.

Not so long ago former senator Trent Lott ” championed ” that racial bigot Strom Thurmond as being a principled man of integrity . Cousin issues concerning his temperament goes back to his days as a Kentucky Wildcat and the fact that Calipari wasn’t interested in reining in players with behavoral issues . Simply look at DeMarcus Cousins’ track record while there and the allegations of cheating as it related to Derrick Rose’s …. SAT scores and his scholarship while at Memphis, another program where Calipari coached , that came under a cloud of suspicion and investigation by the NCAA . Yet it all gets glossed over by fucking assholes such as Digger Phelps and Dick Vitale , because John Calipari is seen as a winner .

John Calipari has played his part in all of this , but this latest incident comes down to the lack of maturity in a complete ass wipe such as DeMarcus Cousins !
