So to round out week seven of the NFL regular season the New England Patriots faced their AFC East divisional rivals the New York Jets. It was a master-class as these two teams were divergent with regard to their aspirations for the season.

Superbowl appearances, winning on six occasions with the Patriots . Tom Brady , the quarterback for New England during each of those triumphs, continues to be as consistent as ever. Last night’s performance by the player was once again a work of art , where he clearly outplayed his Jets’ counterpart Sam Darnold , a first-round pick among the quarterbacks from the 2018 NFL Draft . This game was a complete rout with the Patriots’ defense coming away with several interceptions and the sacking of Darnold on multiple occasions. Patriots’ defensive player Devin McCourty , a seasoned veteran might well be having his best year ever as a player with New England . With the result being a 33-0 beating of the New York Jets and New England now moving to 7-0 . The question now being asked is there a team within the AFC capable of beating the New England Patriots at this juncture ?
With the New England Patriots now having acquired Mohammed Sanu from the Atlanta Falcons for a future second-round draft pick , this bolsters the receiving corps of the Patriots and provides them with additional depth on their roster . In week eight , the half-way mark of the regular season the New England Patriots are set to meet the Cleveland Browns in a conference road game .
Say what you will , but injuries have begun to plague the teams around the NFL , causing dire situations for many of them. The Carolina Panthers remain without Cam Newton , albeit , that his back-up , Kyle Allen has shown a great deal of maturity, as the Panthers continue to surprise many in the absence of Newton being on the field. Kyle Allen has proven to be an exceptional understudy , while leading the Panthers to a very good start to their season in 2019. Up next for Allen and the Carolina Panthers will be a game against the unbeaten San Francisco 49ers in an NFC conference match-up . If will be interesting to see how both of these opposing quarterbacks will fare in this contest.
Tuesday, 22nd October and it is the Opening Night for the NBA regular season schedule. Defending NBA champions , the Toronto Raptors will begin defense of their title , which they won convincingly, defeating the Golden State Warriors last season. Toronto will tip-off against the New Orleans Pelicans , who will be without their rookie sensation Zion Williamson . The former Duke star will be sidelined for the next six to eight weeks as he recuperates from surgery, having torn his meniscus. In his absence, it is expected that Lonzo Ball will be expected to lead this team alongside veteran player JJ Redick . Though they’re not expected to be in contention within their division , it will be interested to see how the Pelicans will fare through their regular season schedule and especially within their conference . . Williamson’s first game back, if everything goes to schedule , his first professional season game will see the player and his teammates face the Detroit Pistons on the 9th December .
Anthony Davis has found a new home having left the New Orleans Pelicans to join LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers . The trade which brought Davis to the franchise , saw Lonzo Ball and players superfluous to the Lakers’ needs head East to the Pelicans. Davis was seen as one of the marquee players moved during the off-season , and the one who’s expected to have the greatest impact of all. Yet to mind , that will not be the case , as I expect both Kawhi Leonard with having joined the Los Angeles Clippers and Russell Westbrook , whose departure from the Oklahoma City Thunder to play alongside James Harden of the Houston Rockets , could very well prove to be major factors, as to who poses the biggest threat within the Western Conference and in all likelihood be seen as the prohibitive favorites for the NBA title this season.
The Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers will meet on Opening Night and their regular season series over the course of this season should prove to be very interesting if last season is anything to go by.
There is no denying in my mind , that the New York Knicks are likely to be once again among the worst teams in the league this upcoming season. Team owner James L Dolan and the entire front office remain completely bereft of intelligence in terms of knowing what it takes in building a successful NBA franchise. David Fizdale , Head Coach enters another season with a roster , that will be hard pressed to succeed within the Eastern Conference this season. The opening month will see the Knicks play five games against varied opponents . Fizdale and the team open up their schedule with a match-up against the San Antonio Spurs and it will be a marked surprise by way of the expected match-ups. It will be interesting to see which player steps up to the plate for the Knicks this season, whereas last season it was Tim Hardaway Jr , who this season will be with the Dallas Mavericks .
Jose Altuve once again proved why he’s been so invaluable to the Houston Astros , as his postseason heroics continued apace for the ball-club. Altuve sealed the Astros’ postseason performance in the ALCS against the New York Yankees , guiding the team to their second World Series’ appearance since 2017 .
Tonight , Tuesday, 22nd October will be the opening game of the World Series with the Houston Astros playing in front of their home crowd at Minute Maid Park in Houston , Texas as they face the Washington Nationals . Opposing pitchers for this game will be Max Scherzer of the Nationals facing Gerrit Cole of the Astros . Cole for his part will be a highly desired free agent , this off-season with his being viewed as the marquee player among the crop of free agent starting pitchers.
Gerrit Cole is a native of California and with the Los Angeles Angels , having acquired Joe Maddon as their manager. It is widely believed that GM Billy Eppler and owner Arte Moreno will seek to acquire the player and likely make him the highest paid starting pitcher in baseball , by way of base salary.
This series between the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals could very well be the most anticipated Fall Classic in recent history, with two teams, with pitching staffs considered to be among the best in baseball .
The world of sports has it’s many issues and the stories as they unfold will make for an interesting spectacle for the consumers and fans alike.

So last night’s game within the NFL , a Thursday Night match-up between the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers showed an ugly side to the game , which came with the ejection of Browns’ defensive player Myles Garrett after what was deemed a physical and violent attack on the Steelers’ quarterback Mason Rudolph . Garrett has since been penalized with what appears to be an indefinite suspension by the league hierarchy , which may well be challenged by the NFLPA (Players’ Union) on the player’s behalf. Cleveland may well have came way with the victory , but it leaves an unsavory taste , by way of what was witnessed by the fans during this game.

What this now all means for Myles Garrett and his career remains to be seen and in the likelihood that Mason Rudolph could seek to enact criminal proceedings against Garrett , this could all have serious repercussions , not just for the Browns’ defensive player but also for the NFL moving forward . This was more than a big black eye for the league , at a time when it’s also seeking to win over the public’s trust as well as their continued opponents who feel that the NFL’s treatment of Colin Kaepernick is unjustified , even with his now attending tryout’s with several NFL teams in attendance.

There are some great upcoming games within the NBA for the weekend . It will be interesting to see how the teams perform over that stretch .
If the rumors are to be believed then seasoned veteran and multi-time NBA All Star , Carmelo Anthony will be offered a non-roster contract with the Portland Trailblazers (4-8) , whose season to date has been mired with injuries among their starters . The remainder of this week and head through the month of November , it will be interesting to see how the Blazers will fare if Carmelo Anthony plays alongside Damien Lillard for the rest of the season . For their next game the Blazers will be facing the San Antonio Spurs on the road .
At this point of the season the impressive play of the NBA Rookies have been exemplary with Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies leading the way . Up next for the Grizzlies will be a match-up against the Utah Jazz at home in a contest between Western Conference teams . For Ja Morant , it will be interesting to see how he performs in this match-up .

So the College Basketball Season (D1) has now begun and the teams will be entering the weekend will a full slew of games being played . Saturday , in particular will provide the fans with some very interesting contests . The early season rankings have Kentucky (Wildcats) 2-0 and the Duke Blue Devils 2-0 seated atop of the pile with their unbeaten records this early in the season. For Kentucky their next game will see the team face Utah Valley on Monday evening . Meanwhile , the Blue Devils will have their eyes on a match-up against Georgia State .

College Football (FBS) provided the fans with some great results with this past weekend’s games and there’s a likely shakeup within the rankings as the standings with their being so much on the line with the Playoff Format almost in sight. Baylor (9-1) was once among the unbeaten teams in the nation, but the fact that they’re not ranked among the top-ten in the nation is all the more exacerbating . Their unbeaten run one nine straight victories had seen them average more than forty points per game . The defeat suffered at the hands of Oklahoma (Sooners) provided something of a wake-up call for the team . Next up for Baylor will be a game against Texas (Longhorns) in an instate rivalry .

There were some truly abominable games played during week ten of the NFL regular season schedule. Suffice to say , the fact that those games provided little inspiration for the fans might well have been a blessing. The match-up between the two most recent Superbowl winners provided an eyesore in terms of the abysmal play to be seen from both teams as the New England Patriots got by the Philadelphia Eagles in a sub-par effort from both teams. In week twelve both of these teams will be back in action with the New England Patriots facing the Dallas Cowboys , while the Philadelphia Eagles will be facing the Seattle Seahawks with their postseason ambitions being on the line .

Mike Trout of the Los Angels Angels won his third ALMVP Award and with the accolade it certifies the players’ chances of being first Ballot Hall of Famer in Cooperstown , New York. Trout had a sensational season for the Angels leading the team in several offensive categories. What remains to be seen is whether or not the Angels’ front office will seek to bolster the roster by way of acquiring several new faces. What we clearly know is that the managerial staff under their new manager Joe Maddon .

Carmelo Anthony made his long awaited return to the NBA having signed on with the Portland Trailblazers . In his first game back , Anthony was only able to contribute menially in the Blazers’ loss to the New Orleans Pelicans . Next up for the Blazers will be a contest against the Milwaukee Bucks on the 21st November . Anthony a draft pick in 2003 . Syracuse the program from which Carmelo Anthony spent his formative college years.
Over their last ten games the team with the best record just happens to be the joint mark of 9-1 shared by both the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers . As the week winds down both teams will be back on the court with the Celtics taking on the Los Angeles Clippers , while the Los Angeles Lakers will tip off against the Oklahoma City Thunder .
Gregg Popovich of the San Antonio Spurs has seen this team perform miserably over the course of this season to date . LaMarcus Aldridge , Rudy Gay and DeMar DeRozan seem to lack a
competitive spirit and heart as this team continues to waver both at home as well as on the road . There could moves made by the front office if there’s a need to bolster this roster by way of a trade .
With the month of November winding down the San Antonio Spurts will have several games of interest on their schedule. In their next game the San Antonio Spurs are due to meet the Washington Wizards on Wednesday evening .

It would be fair to suggest that the season for Alabama has taken a turn for the worse with the loss of the team’s starting quarterback and Heisman Trophy hopeful Tua Tagovailoa for the rest of the regular season for the team . The player was having an exceptional season for Alabama, before an injury put an end to his season and that of a high draft status among the quarterbacks likely to declare for the 2020 NFL Draft .

Lamar Jackson and Russell Wilson certainly been playing like the quarterbacks seen as the prohibitive favorites from this season’s NFL League MVP . Games played last night within NBA brought about some not too surprising results . The Golden State Warriors are still having a miserable season and with the inevitable loss of both Steph Curry and Klay Thompson , it’s clear to see why this team is now truly devoid of real team leadership. A seasoned veteran such as Draymond Green is clearly not ready to take up that mantel and Green’s derisory statements directed at former teammate and two-time Finals’ MVP Kevin Durant , clearly shows Green’s immaturity and the fact that Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr allowed things to spiral out of control , which led to Durant’s departure and his joining the Brooklyn Nets as a
free agent during this past off-season. Somehow Draymond remained with the Warriors , but
hasn’t been able to show any type of real productivity that would be of real benefit to the team,. For the remainder of November and heading into the December , the Warriors will be severely tested by the opponents they’ll have to face.
Up next for the Golden State Warriors will be a game against the Utah Jazz on the road between these two Western Conference rivals .

This far into the NBA season and the team with the longest winning streak are the Houston Rockets where the combination of Russell Westbrook , James Harden and Clint Capela are among the best in the league at this point of the season . Capela was drafted by the Rockets in 2014 , with the player proving his worth during his tenure with the franchise. It will be interesting to see if the Rockets can be triumphant within their division this season . Up next for the Rockets will be a game the Los Angeles Clippers . This should prove to be a very competitive match-up between two of the conference’s best teams .

Nothing much has transpired by of the available free agents now on the market . It’s becoming clear that the New York Yankees are in search of a front-line starting pitcher, with both Madison Bumgarner and Gerrit Cole said to be atop of the heap. After a season where the team performed

In what can only be described as mind-numbing frustration where the opposing quarterbacks , Tom Brady of the New England Patriots and Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys struggled to show any sort of consistency with the fans at Gillette Stadium being subjected to some truly inept play during this contest. It speaks volumes to the fact that is left the Patriots’ defense and special teams to win this match-up between the two teams. At no point during this game was either team able to exert any type of real influence. Cowboys’ Head Coach Jason Garrett may well be out the door after the team’s woefully inept performance . I can’t see how team owner Jerry Jones can justify retaining Garrett for another season alongside this current coaching staff .
If someone had told me that the San Francisco 49ers would completely blow the Green Bay Packers out of the water in a meeting of two of the best teams in the NFC . Then my response would be , how was that even possible ? Yet that was in fact what happened as the Forty-Niners left nothing to chance with their defense laying waste to Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers , sacking the player five times during this contest.

So the weekend schedule of the NBA provided the teams within the NBA a great deal to see as the month of November winds down . Sunday afternoon there were several games of interest which piqued the interests of the fans . The Dallas Mavericks with the play of Luca Doncic and Porzingis got the better of the Houston Rockets , whose duo of James Harden and Russell Westbrook came up short in this contest. Elsewhere , that afternoon , the Los Angeles Clippers sought to keep up with divisional rivals the Los Angeles Lakers as they got past the New Orleans Pelicans .
For Monday evening , there will be eleven games on tap , with the most interesting quite possibly being the match-up between the Utah Jazz and Milwaukee Bucks . One intriguing match-up pits two of the Eastern Conference’s best teams will pit the Philadelphia 76ers as they face the Toronto Raptors in what should prove to be a very interesting game.

There were a number of games of interest within the world of College Football (FBS) this past weekend . Yet the upcoming week , should prove to be all the more interesting at it’s rivalry week on the schedule . Number one-ranked LSU (Tigers) will be taking on Texas A&M this upcoming Saturday , while Ohio State will be taking on Michigan (Wolverines) in what is sure to be a tantalizing contest. In a game that once meant something in terms of bragging rights , Florida (Gators) and the Florida Sate Seminoles will meet for those bragging rights.

Still early days yet within the world of College Basketball (D1) . Teams are jockeying now for position as the schedule gets into early season tournaments . The rankings have Duke seated atop of the pile with a 6-0 record as of the 24th November , 2019 . This team will be in action next
when they face Stephen F Austin (University) at Cameron Indoor Arena , on Tuesday evening .
One game from tonight , which I believe will believe will pique the fans’ interest will pit fourth-ranked Kansas (Jayhawks) against Chaminade , while , tenth-ranked Ohio State will take on Kent State .

Twelve weeks into the NFL season and the wheels on the bus of the Cincinnati Bengals have fallen off the bus altogether. This team remains the only team in the league (NFL) without a victory , with both the playing staff and coaching staff completely out of sync and with the front office just devoid of any type creativity or leadership at this juncture. Week twelve and the Bengals simply fell apart as they were manhandled by the Pittsburgh Steelers in a game played at home this past Sunday .
With a week-thirteen match-up due , it’s hard to see how and where the Cincinnati Bengals might be able to get their first victory of the season. That task won’t be made any easier when they are due to face the New York Jets at home between two teams having extremely difficult seasons . The Bengals’ woes are multifaceted and won’t be getting any easier over the remainder of their schedule .
There are issues all across the board and there are growing rumors as to which of the team’s free agents are expendable and which of the players are overpaid , given the extent of their contracts . AJ Green and Tyler Eifert are necessities if the team is to move forward and for Andy Dalton even with his injury woes , this might well be his last season with the franchise.
Other than the drafting of AJ Green and Tyler Eifert it could be said that the Bengals’ draft classes since 2011 have been an absolute bust.

Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra , between them have won three NBA titles for this beloved franchise . Gone are the days when the trio of Chris Bosh , LeBron James and Dwyane Wade brought about much of the success for the Heat. This season the team is off to a great start with their leading their division while having one of the best records within the Eastern Conference . The month of November and with their rookies and sophomores contributing to the team’s success this season . It will be interesting to see how the Miami Heat will fare during the month of December . Up next for the Miami Heat we’ll see the team facing the Charlotte Hornets . For Tyler Herrero and Kendrick Nunn , these are two young Heat players who’ve shown themselves to be ready for the big stage.

Lamar Jackson and his teammates on the Baltimore Ravens put on a stunning display last night to prove they might be the team to beat this NFL Postseason . Without much ado , the Ravens cleaned the clocks of their Monday Night opponents defeating the Los Angeles Rams with the utmost ease . The New England Patriots may well have the best record within the AFC with a mark of 10-1 leading into the week thirteen schedule . Jackson is now playing at a level not seen this season among the quarterbacks , perhaps with the exception Seahawks’ starting quarterback Russell Wilson , with the two being only viable candidates for League MVP in 2019 . It will be interesting to see of the Ravens’ seven-game winning streak remains in-tact when they face the San Francisco 49ers in rematch of Superbowl XLVII (SB47) won by the Ravens .

While the New York Knicks are laboring within the NBA , one of the league’s most popular franchises the Los Angeles Lakers are strolling along with ease , defeating those in their path with some semblance of efficiency. Both the Lakers and New York Knicks will be in action over the next few days , with the Los Angeles Lakers facing the New Orleans Pelicans , while the lowly New York Knicks will face the Toronto Raptors .
Far be it for me to suggest , but if the Philadelphia 76ers are seen as one of the teams to beat within the Eastern Conference , then there’s something seriously wrong , with Joel Embiid showing how incapable he is off playing at a high level along with teammate Ben Simmons . Embiid is a center drafted by the Sixers during the 2014 NBA Draft of that year . Five years in and it’s hard to see how the Sixers can justify Joel Embiid’s contract and his annual salary . It will be interesting see how the Sixers will fare over their next ten games .
Up next for the Philadelphia 76ers , their next match-up will see the team face the Sacramento Kings

Oakland Raiders’ team owner Mark Davis either has to be the most stupid owner in the NFL and that’s with due respect to Jerry Jones . Yet , somehow Davis saw fit to hire Jon Gruden , make him the highest paid Head Coach with a ten-year , $100 million contract . This season the Raiders have failed miserably and the team’s lopsided loss to the New York Jets , being defeated 34-3 , speaks volumes to the sheer ineptitude of the team and coaching staff. The front office led by GM Mike Maycock have seemingly missed with the players drafted in 2019 and 2018 . From my own perspective this franchise has paid dearly over the years for the messes made by way of their trades and draft classes dating back to 2010 . Raiders’ quarterback Derek Carr has proven himself to be far from being the player capable of leading this offense .
Jon Gruden is clearly unwilling to address the issues concerning this team offensively and defensively . With just four games left in the season the Oakland Raiders will need to win out if their to push to have a good season . Up next for the Raiders will be a week thirteen match-up against the Kansas City Chiefs where Patrick Mahomes will be leading the Chiefs’ offense . This game should be an interesting one for a wide variety of reasons .

So just when you thought there couldn’t be animus within the New York Yankees’ organization, the barn door is blown wide open with the front office seeking to terminate the final year of the contract of Yankees’ utility player Jacoby Ellsbury , who once played for Yankees’ rivals the Boston Red Sox . Ellsbury still had a year on his deal with an option for 2021. With the situation now arising this could create a plethora of problems for Yankees’ GM Brian Cashman and managing partner Hank Steinbrenner in their pursuance of free agents during this off-season . The most prized players on the market are Gerrit Cole and Stephen Strasburg , who after his World Series ‘ MVP Award will be looking to parlay that feature into a big-money deal . The stumbling block being , both players are represented by sport’s agent Scott Boras who also represents Jacoby Ellsbury .

Over their last six games within the NBA , the team with the best record just happens to be Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks with both teams having gone 6–0 as of the 1st December . The divisional and conference standings being what they are at his stage of the season should prove to be eventful through the coming weeks . The past few weeks for the Golden State Warriors have been a laborious one with the team having played so badly and without many of their front-line starters due to injury. A quarter of the way through the season and the Warriors need to bounce back through the months of December and January if their to be in with a chance of making the run at an NBA Playoff berth . For their next game the Golden State Warriors will be facing the Atlanta Hawks on the road on Monday evening .

With an eventful weekend within College Football (FBS) , there were several games that had a number of surprises as their climax . Alabama an ever present force succumbed to Auburn as the Nick Saban coached team was completely annihilated in the Iron Bowl Match-up Though the score of 48-45 might suggest something different . Alabama was clearly outplayed by their opponents . Elsewhere , Ryan Day and Ohio State as the number one team in the nation punched their ticket to a Bowl Game and the chance of a conference title as well as the national championship likely to be at stake. The Buckeyes just swept aside Michigan with a great deal of ease on their way to a lopsided victory.

The England Patriots have issues and the team’s offense has simply become stagnant over their last four games . So much so that Tom Brady seems to be at odds with coaches Bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels . In Sunday’s devastating loss to the Houston Texans , it was DeShaun Watson outplaying his more studious counterpart as the Texans wiped the floor with the Patriots.
There’s no denying that the NFC East might well remain the most overrated division in all of the NFL , bar none and with the Philadelphia Eagles falling to the Miami Dolphins and the Dallas Cowboys playing some mediocre football against the Buffalo Bills , it begs the question how much worse can these teams get within the division get ?

College Men’s Basetball (D1) saw a weekend of games played through Friday to Saturday and Sunday. It is Louisville which now tops the rankings after Duke’s inexplicable last second loss to Stephen F Austin in a buzzer beater. That game might well be symbolic of the team’s play over the course of this season and their coaching staff led by Mike Krzyzewski . Stephen F Austin exposed Duke’s flaws during this contest . This team will be thoroughly tested over the rest of their schedule Duke will have several tough opponents.
Next up for the Duke Blue Devils will be a game against Wofford as these two teams get together.

There should be several games of interest on Tuesday as the players seek to lead their teams to
some semblance of success over the course of this season . Next up for the Los Angeles Lakers will see the team in action as they face the high flying Western Conference’s , Denver Nuggets . One good match- up taking place within the Eastern Conference pits the Miami Heat as they take on the Toronto Raptors in two of the conference’s best teams.
James Harden continues his rapid pace that has made him an elite player and an offense weapon ever since he was drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder as part of the 2009 NBA Draft . With Harden now being part of the Houston Rockets’ roster and the team playing well it remains to be seen what the player can contribute to the team over the course of their season. Tonight , Harden and his teammates will be facing the San Antonio Spurs in a conference match-up .

So with less than five game left in the NFL regular season the front office of the Carolina Panthers have decided to fire the team’s Head Coach Ron Rivera . The coach cannot be blamed for the team’s disastrous season with the number of injuries sustained including having to play without their perennial starting quarterback Cam Newton . In the player’s absence , Kyle Allen was asked to take over the reins in the starting position of team quarterback. David Tepper the Panthers’ billionaire owner might well have given this all his blessing with the dismissal of Ron Rivera . During his tenure as the Head Coach Rivera did have some playoff success and having led the Panthers to a divisional title . As a replacement it is likely that team GM Marty Hurney will install Norv Turner until the end of the season and assess his coaching acumen of the team over that time-frame.

It seems at this point of the NBA season we’re beginning to see the best of the teams and several of the rookies and sophomores in the league this season. Suffice to say these young players are being well-rewarded for their efforts .
With LeBron James turning 35 this month and the player is still seeking his moment of truth and being considered one of the all-time greats within the game. Tonight there will be several games of interest for the fans . One game that will be of real interest pits the Golden State Warriors as they face the Charlotte Hornets .
One intriguing match-up has the Miami Heat taking on the Boston Celtics in one of the best games of the season between Eastern Conference rivals at this point of the season. This game between the Heat and Celtics could prove to be a tough test for Miami with the Celtics’ trio of Kemba Walker , Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown being a formidable group of players .

So the Philadelphia Phillies after an indifferent season in 2019 , thought it prudent that the front office made a big splash with the signing of free agent starting pitcher and former New York Mets’ player Zach Wheeler . GM Matt Klentak has seen fit to commit over $300 million to Bryce Harper for the next decade , while adding Wheeler’s sizable deal to the payroll . It will be interesting to see what Zack Wheeler can add to the team’s pitching for the upcoming season and how the team will fare against their likely opponents.

In what turned out to be a stunning double overtime victory the San Antonio Spurs took down the Houston Rockets with an emphatic victory for the team. Lonnie Walker IV was the player stepping up to the plate as the Spurs improved their record within the league. Up next for the Spurs will be a game against the Sacramento Kings on Friday evening , 6th December , 2019 .

If ever you needed an affirmation and condemnation as to how bad the Dallas Cowboys really are, then last night’s game against the Chicago Bears was proof of that fact. Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky played sloppily and still lead his team to a rather surprising victory. The loss now leaves the Cowboys desperately hoping those within the NFC wildcard hunt will somehow find away to implode as the regular season winds down .

In what can only be deemed absurd and incompetent officiating the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots showed us no matter how much tinkering is made by the league hierarchy , the officials are still pathetic. Missed calls by the game officials were obvious but it didn’t help that the Patriots’ offense was poor in several aspects of their game with , a great deal of the blame to be placed on Josh McDaniels as the Patriots’ offensive coordinator .

Well the weekend schedule in the NBA did prove to be very entertaining. Suffice to say that this upcoming week should prove to be interesting to say the very least . On Monday evening there should be nine games that will certainly pique the fans’ interests at this stage of the season.

So now we have our two final combatants for Superbowl LIV with the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the San Francisco 49ers in the showcase event of the NFL Postseason . Jimmy Garoppolo of the 49ers will be looking to measure up his skills against that of the Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes in this big game.
